The book of Leviticus is used as the primary biblical justification for discrimination against homosexuals. So, by that reasoning, God Hates Shrimp as well.

For those who don’t know the old testament and the new testament are different times. There are different times in the bible.
Example:
The bible says that Adam and Eve should not eat of the TREE of Knowledge of good and evil.
This was the only rule they had to live by. After they broke that rule.
Cain and Able only had to do what was right in their eyes. In other words obey their conscience.
In the New Testament the bible says that Peter was given the Keys.
Matthew 16:17-19
“And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. 18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”
So your reasoning is not sound.

The reasoning is sound.. Jesus gave the keys of the kingdom to Peter but he never says Peter get to change the rules!!! That would be breaking the covenant of the Old Testement which makes no sense Jesus doesn’t null the covenent he fufills it!!!
