So I went with my girlfriend to this Japanese garden last week and it was beautiful. We were walking around and walked over this tiny bridge and saw all these fish, but no matter what I did they just wouldn’t pay attention to me.
My girlfriend came up to me and said “don’t take it personally, they’re just being Koi.”
I'm a graduate student in my fourth year of a Computational Biology PhD program, where I use large scale data-integration to help understand the aetiology of cancer.
In my free time, I'm a techie, a Linux user, and I enjoy exploring the intersection of technology and culture. When not in front of a computer, you'll find me playing ultimate frisbee, jamming on my guitar, talking politics, or enjoying the great outdoors.

no wonder. I mean he’s got his girlfriend with him as well as his wife. tough situation. the koi don’t want no part in that.
