I know that half of my posting these days seems to be about grad school and science, but I suppose that’s what a PhD program does to you. Hopefully, I’ll venture back into politics once the primaries get a little bit closer, but right now, I could give a rat’s ass.
Since I rarely have time to make substantial posts anymore, I’ll try to at least pass on a better selection of links to things I’ve read and enjoyed.
Hi. I'm Chris Miller. Professionally, I'm a graduate student in my fifth year of a Computational Biology PhD program, where I use large scale integration of genomic data to help understand the aetiology of cancer.
In my free time, I'm a techie, a Linux user, and I enjoy exploring the intersection of technology and culture. When not in front of a computer, you'll find me playing ultimate frisbee, jamming on my guitar, talking politics, or enjoying the great outdoors.
Since there are too many Chris Millers in this world, I added my middle initial to get this domain name. I long ago gave up the pretense of web anonymity that many people cling to. To me, this is the natural corollary of all that "be yourself" advice you got in grade school.
