For many years NORAD has been tracking Santa on Christmas Eve and posting their radar sightings on the web. This year, Google Earth added the same feature, showing an even more detailed real-time view of where Santa is.

Right now, at 12_01am CST, NORAD lists him as being right here in St. Louis. Google Earth lists him as being somewhere over St. Johns, Newfoundland.

Minor discrepancies and a slight delay in posting, I can understand. However, being off by 1300 miles is completely unacceptable. I demand a full investigation of the facts. If NORAD is at fault, I demand a full congressional inquiry into why our radar defense system is outdated and inaccurate. If the fault lies with Google, I'd like a written apology and maybe a t-shirt.

Either way, our children deserve better liars.
